Local Area

Once the well-worn factory and workshop of the city, this area is now a thriving and cutting edge destination that is the heart Liverpool. The Baltic is not polished and prepared, it’s raw, it’s organic and it’s exciting.

Royal Albert Dock
First opened in 1846, The Royal Albert Dock is the UK’s biggest group of Grade I listed buildings and the most-visited free tourist attraction outside of London. Home to world class museums, retailers and some of the city’s best independent restaurants, bars and retails, it’s only half a mile from Baltic Yard
Liverpool One
With over 170 stores, over 50 bars and restaurants and leisure venues including indoor carting, urban street golf and 18-screen cinema, this is one of the City’s most popular retail and entertainment destinations – and less than 10 minutes’ walk from Baltic Yard.
Chavasse Park
The first inner city park to be built in Liverpool in the last 100 years, Chavasse Park is a Green Heritage Site by Historic England and home to over 15,500 pollinator-friendly plants and what is thought to be the largest green roof in Europe. The Park holds a number of events throughout the year from festivals to sporting events and is right next door to Liverpool One.
